Transforming offshore inspection operations
Inspecting offshore infrastructure traditionally requires vessels, complex logistics and personnel operating in challenging maritime environments.
Texo Drone Survey & Inspection introduced the HEF 32 to create a safer and more efficient approach: conducting detailed inspections of ocean-based assets directly from shore-based locations.
By extending unmanned aviation capabilities offshore, operators can collect critical data while reducing operational risk.
The challenge: reaching offshore assets safely and efficiently
Offshore inspections require accurate data collection in environments where access is difficult.
Traditional methods often involve vessel operations, weather limitations and transferring personnel close to offshore structures.
Texo DSI needed a platform capable of combining long-range operations, precise inspection capability and reliable performance in maritime conditions.
The solution: HEF 32 for long-range offshore inspection
Texo DSI selected the HEF 32 because of its combination of endurance, VTOL capability and maritime design.
With more than 3 hours of flight capability, a take-off weight below 25 kg, water recovery features and IP67 protection, the HEF 32 enables operators to perform demanding offshore missions.
The system supports multiple payload configurations, including:
- High-definition optical zoom cameras
- Thermal imaging sensors
- LiDAR applications
- UV Corona inspection systems
Combined with a long-range HD data link, operators can receive mission-critical information in real time.
